Nivi Chawda

Nivi is a student at Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College double majoring in Studio Art and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies with certificates in Law, Justice and Culture and Diversity Studies. She grew up in a small artistic town in India called Baroda, where she was constantly surrounded by rich heritage, art, music, and theatre. She moved to the United States to pursue her calling. She has known that her life’s purpose is using art as a medium to better others’ lives since a very young age. Over the years, she’s dabbled with a variety of art forms including drawing, painting, graphic design, printmaking, pottery, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and is currently trying her hands on animation!
