Though recently transplanted to Athens from Los Angeles, CA, Shirley’s known Patty Mitchell since the 6th grade, when their families relocated to the D.C. area during the Bicentennnial. For over 13 years, she’s worked on the business end of contemporary art galleries in Los Angeles. A graduate of Northwestern University’s School of Speech and decades of working in theater, design firms and art galleries, she applies her curious mind, creativity and business experience to any task at hand. Shirley is the doting mother of her incredibly adorable fur-baby, Trixie (an 11-year old spaniel mix).
